Quick right turn and I misjudged the braking point. The light gravel outside the racing line was really loose...thus we hit the bank. We weren't the first to hit that bank...at least three other cars went off before us. Apparently, we hit it harder than the others! Very frustrating. |

There’s nothing like this feeling. My first WRC event, first stage, and a simple mistake. I wish I could take it back, but I can’t. Tomorrow's another day and I am thankful that I will be able to get back on the road. |

The techs get to work. The worst part of this was waiting for the FIA official to come inspect the cage to see if I could continue the next day after the repairs. The cage checked out good...we got the thumbs up late in the afternoon. |
